Today’s kasi star is hip-hop artist MoPhunk, also known as Mogari Mokgatle born and raised in Dobsonville, Ext 3, Soweto. Mogari’s love for street culture and hip-hop music inspired him to start producing his own beats close to a decade ago.

Today, MoPhunk celebrates the launch of his EP AFROBOTS. He describes this body of work as a form of African liberation and intends to spread a message to African creators to embrace the power of sharing their unfiltered stories.
